Beltronics, Inc. determined, many years ago, that being a "supermarket" for two way radio products was not in the best interests of the company nor the customer.  Having one representative line of products to meet most customer needs was much more productive.  However, technology evolves and so did Beltronics.  Since no one company can no longer supply "most" customer needs and with the introduction of digital modes of communications, Beltronics needed to choose more than one supplier of communications equipment without sacrificing quality and equipment reliability.  So, Beltronics went through the same iterations that most communications companies do and settled on products that were reliable, performed well and were well supported by the manufacturer.

    The Vertex equipment line offers the customer a wide variety of choices in equipment at a reasonable price and with a good warranty. Warranty service is performed "in house" and products are not routinely sent to the factory repair centers for service as is done with some other brands of equipment.
